          Dedication: The Cathedral School of St. Jude was founded by Adrian Dominican Nuns in 1954 and our Media Center is named in honor of a former Principal, an Adrian Dominican Nun, Sister Patricia Caulfield who was Principal from 1973-2000.

 

          Mission Statement: The Media Center strives to support the School Mission Statement and curriculum to provide; reading materials, information, activities, and services in a variety of formats to help all students reach their highest potential.

 

          Media Center Goals: To improve reading skills, to foster a love of reading books and learning and to create a lifelong library habit.

 

          Policies: All materials are checked out for two weeks.  Materials need to be returned before more items may be checked out.   Students are permitted to exchange items more frequently than every two weeks, if they would like, with teacher permission.  Students in EC3-5th Grade exchange materials on a weekly basis, students grade 6th -8th as needed.
